I create abstract stone sculptures using a three-dimensional free-form approach — without drawings, models, or other aids. I let the shape, feel, and color of the stone guide me. Each sculpture emerges as a unique, abstract work of art, designed to be viewed from every angle. The dynamic interplay of lines and shapes ensures there is no defined front or back, inviting viewers to explore and interpret the piece from multiple perspectives.
I’m especially drawn to simplicity. The work of Constantin Brâncuși speaks to me — his ability to strip forms down to their essence without losing emotion or presence. That influence is evident in my own pieces, where I strive for clean lines, quiet curves, and shapes that feel both grounded and open to interpretation.
People often react to my work by wanting to touch it — to feel the surface, the weight, the contours. I take that as a sign the sculpture is doing its job: inviting connection without the need for explanation.
Sculpting is a slow, absorbing, and calming process. It’s a way to connect with something solid and lasting — a quiet negotiation between hand, tool, and stone.
